Founded in 1887 by William Freer, the business initially concentrated on small plumbing works, and gradually expanded into larger scale plumbing and heating contracts from its offices based in Wellington Street, Leicester.
William Freer retired in 1992 and was succeeded by current Chairman and fourth generation, Richard Freer. The company continues to grow and adapt, and has added commercial catering equipment maintenance, refrigeration and air conditioning to its portfolio.
Installing, maintaining and servicing mechanical appliances demands that quality, health and safety, and environmental management is of paramount importance. We employ our own full-time Gas/Oil Quality and Training Manager who regularly inspects and audits every gas operative to ensure they are fully conversant with the latest statutory regulations and technical updates, in accordance with the frequencies dictated by the grading system within our Auditing Procedure and the ISO standards.
Our comprehensive management and inspection systems have been developed and are regularly reviewed, to ensure that every customer receives the highest quality service on all work undertaken, and to gauge our customer's perception of us.
